Tempia develops and delivers modern refrigeration and heating solutions for demanding maritime and industrial applications. With our own technology, Norwegian manufacturing, and strong expertise in design, automation, and technical integration, we develop compact and customer-adapted systems based on CO₂ technology and innovation in heat exchanger design.

Positioning for future development and growth
Proff Kulde has a record amount of work projects and is simultaneously trying to secure new development projects. The company is one of five businesses to be awarded the «Gasellebedrift 2020» title (a term used in Norway to describe a business that has demonstrated exceptional growth). Locally, the company has been nominated for Business of the Year in Vågan and is receiving significant positive attention from its surroundings. Proff Kulde has high ambitions to continue being an innovator in the industry and to expand its competitive strength both nationally and internationally.

2020

Annual turnover: 29,5M
Focus on R&D in sustainability and increased competitiveness
The company focuses on delivering CO2PRO™ RSW systems and other larger chilling and heating systems, at the same time as the ongoing work on R&W and business development. The company participate in several competence enhancing programs at Innovation Norway. Proff Kulde becomes certified as an “eco-lighthouse” (a Norwegian environmental certification scheme for businesses and organizations) during spring 2020 and gets a product review of the CO2PRO™ RSW at the site The Explorer (https://www.theexplorer.no/).

2019

CO2PRO_RSW™ is introduced to the market
Launch of the CO2PRO™RSW at the Lofot Fishing trade fair in Kabelvåg. The company receive attention for the product during the fair and the reception in the market is good. Proff Kulde delivers several big projects to important customers within the fisheries and manufacturing industries. The company is approved for a several years project by SkatteFUNN where the goal is product- and process improvements within refrigeration technologi/ the refrigeration industry.

2018

Annual turnover: NOK 16,6M
The first commercial sale of own developed environmental technology
Proff Kulde AS completes the project “Design of high-pressure heat exchangers for use in chilling and heat pump systems”. The project is featured at Innovation Norway´s website. The first commercial sale of own produced RSW system happens during fall 2018.

2017

Annual turnover: NOK 12,8M
Starts a collaboration with Innovation Norway
Proff Kulde starts its own development project with financial support from Innovation Norway. The project results in two CO2 RSW- pilot systems for the fishing vessels Lofotværing and Sofie. Our R&D-work in 2017 focused on our own design of high-pressure heat exchangers for use in CO2 RSW-systems. The company keeps growing and has an annual turnover of NOK 12,8M and employs 6 employees.

2016

Annual turnover: NOK 9,1M
Several international deliveries
Proff Kulde carries out several jobs abroad, among other things commissioning of larger freezing plants on trawlers built on shipyards in Turkey and Spain. The annual turnover was the same as last year of NOK 9,1M. Proff Kulde is focusing on service customers and the planning of new and sustainable technology in the refrigeration industry.

The growth accelerates
Proff Kulde is growing, and the company almost doubles its annual turnover from 2014 with an annual turnover of NOK 9,2M in 2015. The company delivers its best annual result of NOK 0,6M and employs 5 man-years. Proff Kulde deliver several bigger projects, both RSW systems, ice machines and freezing plants.

Bigger jobs
Proff Kulde is growing and manage an annual turnover of NOK 5,4M. The company employs 3 man-years. The company deliver its first complete RSW system to a shipyard in Poland.

2013

Annual turnover: NOK 2,1M
The first full year of operation
Proff Kulde´s first full year of operation created an annual turnover of NOK 2,1 mill and the company signed contract with the first important customers in the local market.

2012

November 2012: The foundation of the company
Proff Kulde AS is fouded November 18. 2012. Statutory purpose is sale and services of refrigeration products and systems for trade, manufacturing industries and fisheries.
