Our service department in Tromsø services all types of refrigeration plants, with industrial CO₂ and ammonia as its main fields — onshore, on board, and at aquaculture and RAS sites. One contact point, whether the plant carries a catch, a batch or a biomass.
Our service department in Tromsø services all types of refrigeration plants. Its main fields are industrial CO₂ and ammonia: plants running ammonia, CO₂, or both together in cascade — the systems that carry a production line, a catch or a biomass. That focus is the difference between a technician who learns your plant on your time and one who reads the layout, follows the pressure levels and knows where a cascade normally drifts. We cover refrigeration, freezing and heat processes on the same visit: on land, on board, and at aquaculture, smolt and RAS facilities.
A stopped plant is rarely just a stopped plant. It is a catch losing grade, a batch losing hours, a room drifting toward its temperature limit. So we answer as a service organisation rather than a switchboard: you reach people who can ask the right questions, make a first assessment before anyone travels, and move a technician and the likely parts in the same decision. Call us and describe what the plant is doing. We take it from there.
We design and build our own CO2PRO and NH3PRO plants in Svolvær, so parts are not a catalogue lookup for us. We know which component sits where, why it was chosen, and what it does to the rest of the system when it is replaced with something almost right. Tell us the plant, give us the serial number or send a photo of the nameplate, and we identify the part with you. Parts go out to owners, to yards and to the crews who keep the plants running.
A maintenance plan is built around the plant, not around a template: how hard it runs, which season it has to survive, what a stop actually costs you. We agree the intervals, the checks and the wear parts worth holding locally, and you get a written record from every visit. Over a few visits that record becomes the honest picture of the plant, and the basis for deciding what to do before the plant decides for you. Where the installation supports remote monitoring and alarm handling, we use it.
Not every problem needs a new plant. A rebuilt control system, a reconfigured circuit, recovered heat that replaces a boiler, or a move to a natural refrigerant can change what an existing installation costs to run. CO₂ is not toxic and needs no fire-rated EX rooms, and it recovers heat well — which is often what makes a conversion worth doing at all. We survey what is there, say plainly what is worth doing and what is not, and carry it out with our own engineering and pipe crews, welding included.

We do not publish prices, because no two plants need the same scope — a service visit, a parts order, an agreement and a rebuild are each priced on what yours actually requires. Send us the plant type, where it sits and what you need it to do, and you reach a person rather than a queue: the enquiry goes straight to the engineer or technician who knows that kind of plant.
